“THE PARENTAL ALIENATION SYNDROME”. PROGRAM DAPHNE 2004-2008 2005-1/155/YC

Duration: 12 months. From May 2006 to May 2007
This project has studied the Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) as a phenomenon related to intra-family violence, which consists in conditioning a child to reject one of his parents, usually during the process of separation and divorce. The overall objective of our research has been:
  • To identify, analyze and compare the circumstances and the causes that provoke it.
  • To elaborate and develop a comprehensive prevention, protection and treatment program.

3d REPORT Elaboration: Available resources and indicators of best practices. Statistical data relating the years 2004/2006. Presentation on March, 12. Seminar in Altea. Spain. Ending May, 18. Presentation of the FINAL REPORT to the EU.
